With milled slide you are kind of commited to your optic. Some people say the mounting plate is a potential failure point and claim that the optics have flow off during slide cycle. no cracks, chips, dents or deep scratches. RMR sits a little lower on milled slide than MOS equipped slide. Slide must be in original OEM finish with no prior work. You are able to swap in a 17 slide for a 19, or a 34 for a 17, or a 19 for a 34, or any other type of combination of the slides stated here, as long as they are Gen 3.
